In February 2015, Jill Munroe hosted the LA Huddle for PASS (Protecting Athletes and Sports Safety)
National Council on Youth Sports Safety. PASS is a national initiative chaired by former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher and Dr. Eliot Sorel.
The event was sponsored by the Coca Cola Foundation, and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti. It’s purpose was to inform communities about sports-related concussions and provide education to keep kids safely in the game.
The event also featured the Player’s Perspective panel, moderated by “First Take” host Cari Champion, and featured “Sports Nation” host Marcellus Wiley, Nike N7 Ambassador and Soccer Player Temryss Lane, and Three-Time World Champion and former Laker A.C. Green.
